Hey,
I know I have not written in a while, but I had no time ... : D Now I'm back. This week was technically a really relaxed school week for me. :) On Monday I had a day off, because of teacher workday. On Wednesday I had been released because of the weather .. yeah that's right weather: D We had a SNOW DAY! :) Sooo cool. It was snowing all nigth long, even two days ago we had about 30° C :D :OAnd some of the people her went out of power.. So did the schools. :)
Ivan and Joy, of course, had to work anyway, so I spent the day alone at home. I've used the time for a little bit of sport, made my room, school supplies and a lot of pictures and videos of the beautiful snow;)
It was definitely a really pleasant day with hot chocolate and all:) On the eveningthere was the Book Club from my host mother and her friends and we've talkes about the, "Loveland loves to read" -book.
Super cute group and it was definitely very funny. :)
Today is Thursday, and although we still had only -8 ° C today, we had to go back to school. : ( But well .. Now I have also my English presentation done and there are no tests or any more projects for the next couple days. ;)
Tomorrow, I would actually have had my last football game,but because of the snow it was cancelled. I think that's sad, but on the other hand, I am also pleased to have more freetime and the fact that I must not stand in the cold. : D: D Now, football season is over and basketball / wrestling starts ... Let's see how this is.
Next Monday is already Halloween ! :) I'm so excited and already have my costume together. :) I'll be with friendsgoing trick or treat and i'll be Luna lovegood. :D! :) Today I was on a small Halloween party for the company of my host parents with the family. :) That was fun.
And last weekend my firend and me went to a haunted cornmaze. : DThat was great, but especially from the monsters with chainsaws I was really really scared and there was the new moon, so it was really dark. : D creepy: D:)But it was so much fun with all the people and it was one of these unique, american experiences that I have over here that make my exchange year something very special. :)I'll get back again after Halloween! :) See youYvonne:): *

Snow! :)
Hey,
ich weiß ich habe schon länger nicht mehr geschrieben, aber ich hatte keine Zeit... :D Jetzt bin ich aber wieder da. Diese Woche war schultechnisch relativ entspannt für mich. :) Am Montag hatte ich frei, weil Lehrerkonferenzen waren und am Mittwoch hatte ich frei wegen dem Wetter.. Jaa richtig gehört Wetter :D Wir hatten einen SNOW-DAY! :) Sooo cool. Es hat nämlich die gesamte Nacht und den nächsten Tag durchgeschneit, obwohl 2 Tage vorher noch 30°C waren.:D :O Und da auch noch teilweise der Strom den ganzen Tag ausgefallen ist, ist die Schule ausgefallen. :)
Ivan und Joy mussten natürlich trotzdem arbeiten, also habe ich den Tag alleine zu Hause verbracht. Ich habe die Zeit für ein bisschen Sport genutzt, mein Zimmer, Schulsachen und ganz viele Fotos und Videos von der wunderschönen Schneelandschaft gemacht ;) Es war auf jeden Fall ein richtig gemütlicher Tag mit heißer Schokolade und allem :) Am Abend war dann noch der Buchclub von meiner Gastmutter und ihren Freundinnen da und wir haben über das " Loveland liebt es zu lesen"- Buch gesprochen. Super nette Truppe und es war auf jeden Fall sehr lustig und hat Spaß gemacht. ;)
Heute ist Donnerstag und obwohl wir den Tag über immer noch nur -8°C hatten, mussten wir heute wieder zur Schule. :( Aber naja.. Jetzt habe ich somit auch meine Englisch-Präsentation hinter mir und es stehen erstmal keine Tests und Projekte mehr an. ;) Morgen hätte ich eigentlich noch ein letztes Footballspiel gehabt, aber im Schnee lässt es sich nicht soo gut spielen und deswegen wurde es abgesagt. Das finde ich schade, aber auf der anderen Seite freue ich mich auch über mehr Freizeit und darüber, dass ich nicht in der Kälte stehen muss. :D:D Jetzt ist Footballseason rum und Basketball bzw Wrestling beginnt... Mal sehen, wie das so wird.
Nächsten Montag ist schon Halloween! :) Ich bin so aufgeregt und habe schon mein Kostüm zusammen. :) Ich werde mit Freunden als Luna Lovegood verkleidet durch die Häuser ziehen! :) Heute war ich mit der Familie auf der kleinen Halloweenparty von der Firma meiner Gasteltern. :) Das war lustig.
Und letztes Wochenende bin ich mit Freunden zu einem Hauntes Cornmaze gegangen. :D
Das war großartig, aber besonders vor den Monstern mit Kettensägen hatte ich echt richtig Angst und dadurch das Neumond war, war es richtig dunkel. :D GRUSELIG :D:)
Aufjeden hat es mit all den Leuten richtig Spaß gemacht und es war eine dieser einmaligen, amerikanischen Erfahrungen die ich hier immer wieder erlebe, und die mein Austauschjahr zu etwas ganz besonderem machen. :)

Denver, Hiking, Indian Pride ! :)
hey:)Long time not reported sry! : D So what's happened since the last time?My family and I were going down this weekend to Denver, where we helped my uncle moving. Then, after being in the heat and super exhausted we went to the hotel. That was super nice, large modern room, good food and the best thing: a large pool. For Yvonn'chen, who loves swimming and diving, just the best thing ever. Was the first time in the water since I am in America: D However, they did it a bit too much of the chlorine. Ivan and I looked like zombies and my eyes have never burned. sooo much in my whole life: (
But everything else was top.) The day after, we went to the Denver Zoo after having a great breakfast in the lobby . The zoo is HUGE, animals such as hippos and kangaroos.) But the best was the part with the snakes and frogs and the underwater world. The entire Red Sea, I tell ya:) And they had an aquarium where they were huge fish in there!they were bigger than Ellory! : D: O Today was a cool day too. :) We went hiking in the mountains near the "Rocky Mountain National Park", down along a stream. :) Fresh air and a little bit walking, and nature watching: D I found it beautiful:) And Ellory liked it too.And then i just got back from my first varsity football game: to cheer in front of such a large crowd is so cool. The atmosphere was great and we have beaten the Eagles with 26 on 6! :): D GO LOVELAND! :)Also, I could wear my uniform for the first time:) But it was sooo cold, although Iwas wearing my tights under the skirt.. (yes, it looked funny, but certainly better than the red jogging pants of the others: D) It was just so cold. We had 52 ° F (about 11 degrees celsius;) ) But Brianna's mom was so nice and bought me a hot chocolate and I've got red loveland indians gloves for games in the winter: D Our warm ups should be in next week and then we look at least all the same when we are freezing at the games. :D
Otherwise, I'm feeling pretty good. :) My parents now have received the official information of my organization, that I will stay with the Hansens the whole year : ) Hooray! : D I love everything about this family. :) They are the best.
School has now become easier and more relaxed. The first quarter is over and my grades are determined: All A (= 1), except history B (= 2): D: D So I'm happy :) .. And in some subjects, I've even more than 100 percent: D (However this works: D: D)

Lange nicht gemeldet, sry! :D Also was ist alles seit dem letzten mal passiert?
Meine Familie und ich sind das Wochenende nach Denver runtergefahren, wo wir meinem Gastonkel beim Umzug geholfen. Danach, bei purer Hitze und völlig erschöpft ging es zum Hotel. Das war superschön, modernes großes Zimmer, leckeres Essen und das Beste : Ein großer Pool. Für Yvonn'chen, die Wasserratte, genau das Richtige. War das erste Mal im Wasser seit ich in Amerika bin :D Allerdings hatten sie es ein bisschen zu gut gemeint mit dem Chlor. Ivan und ich sahen nacher aus wie Zombies und meine Augen haben noch nie im meinem Leben sooo sehr gebrannt. :( die Nacht war trotz des großen gemütlichen Betts leider auch nicht sehr erholsam weil Parker die ganze Zeit geschrien hat :( Aber ansonsten war alles top.:) Und am nächsten Tag ging es dann nach dem leckeren Frühstük in der Lobby ab zum Denver Zoo. Der ist RIESIG. Coole Tiere wie Hippos ( Nilpferd) und Kängurus :) Aber am Besten hat mir die Abteilung mit den Schlangen und Fröschen und der Unterwasserwelt gefallen. Das ganze Rote Meer sag ich euch :) Und die hatten ein Aquarium wo sie so riesen Fische drin hatten, die waren größer als Ellory!!! :D:O Also vor denen hätte ich echt mehr Angst als vor nem Drückerfisch wenn die mir im Meer begegnen :D
Und dann bin ich gerade erst von meinem ersten Varsity-Footballgame wiedergekommen :O Unglaublich vor so einer großen Menschenmenge zu cheeren. Die Stimmung war grandios und wir haben die Eagles mit 26 zu 6 geschlagen! :):D GO LOVELAND! :)
Außerdem konnte ich das erste mal meine Uniform ausprobieren :) Aber es war sooo kalt, obwohl ich meine Thermo-Strumphosen druntergetragen habe (ja es sah komisch aus, aber sicherlich besser als die roten Jogginghosen der anderen :D) Es war einfach so kalt. Wir hatten 52 ° F (ungefähr 11 grad celsius ;)) Aber brianna's mom war so lieb und hat mir 'ne heiße schokolade gekauft :) und ich habe jetzt rote loveland indians Handschuhe für die Spiele im Winter bekommen :D Unsere richtigen warm ups sollten nächste Woche rein kommen und dann sehen wir wenigstens alle identisch doof aus, wenn wir uns bei den Spielen den Hintern abfireren. :D Ansonsten geht's mir auch gut. :) Meine Eltern haben jetzt die offizielle Bestätigung meiner Orga bekommen, dass ich das ganze jahr bei den Hansens bleibe :) JUHUU! :D Ich liebe diese Familie über alles. :) Sie sind die Besten. Schule ist mittlerweile auch einfacher und entspannter geworden. Der erste Quarter ist um und meine Noten stehen fest: Alles A ( =1), außer geschichte B (=2) :D:D Also relativ in Ordnung könnte man so sehen.. Und in manchen Fächern habe ich sogar über 100 prozent :D (Wie auch immer das geht :D:D)
