Up and down!

Hey,

So to be honest since the last time there was a lot of stuff going on here ... First we had Thanksgiving, which was so much stuff to eat. But especially the Thanksgiving on Friday with the friends I enjoyed : P It was great fun and I just love the friends group of my host family. :) After Thanksgivin, we also   started putting up all the Christmas decorations and now the whole house looks like at the North Pole. :) It is sooo incredibly cool-I love it. : D Especiallythe fire place in the living room just looks great and so typically American with all the socks and stuff. Then after Thanksgiving, my birthday was on Monday. It was a good day: in the morning i skyped with family and friends in Germany and got some very cute congratulations. Thanks again: Then in the school i also got a lot of happy birthday songs and everything. Still do not know why they all knew it: D: D And I've never got soo many hugs in one day haha. : D: D Anyway, it was a good day and in the evening, then there was cake with my family and great gifts. :) All in all, a perfect birthday. Even if it stillbothers me, how quickly the time runs by. I have a great time here and I don't like thinking about going home in six months ... : ( : D school is better every single day now, have now found quite a few really good friends. I'm super happy with everything here ... But then you have days where u are totally homesick and i just miss my best girlfriend from Germany lisa soo much ... it's something you don't have here, because it is just these years and we have been friends for so long and we know everything about each other .. It is hard not to have someone to talk to and I miss everything of our friendship .. if you are sick then or having a bad day at school  it all comes together and the tears roll down ...Yes, an exchangeyear is not always easy but I'm still very happy to be here and it's worth it. You learn so much and it makes one strong. :) So everyone thinking about it and is not sure...DO IT! :) Now comes the christmas period and I'm super excited. Many traditions here are totally different ... i'll report about this to you next time then .. Now you can first enjoy the decorations photos  ... : D and by the way.. Yes, we have a lot of snow again... :D:D

Auf und ab!

also hier ist in der letzten zeit eine ganze Menge losgewesen, um ehrlich zu sein... Erstmal hatten wir Thanksgiving, was suuuperviel zu essen war. Aber besonders das Thanksgiving am Freitag mit den Freunden hat mir genial gut gefallen. :P Es war super lustig und ich liebe die Freundesgruppe meiner Gastfamilie einfach. :) Außerdem haben wir nach Thanksgiving die ganzen Weihnachtsdekorationen rausgeholt und nun sieht das ganze Haus aus, wie am Nordpol. :) Es ist sooo unglaublich cool- ich liebe es. :D Besonders der Kaminplatzt im Wohnzimmer sieht einfach großartig aus und so typisch amerikanisch mit den ganzen Socken die dranhängen und so. Dann nach Thanksgiving war mein Geburtstag an diesem Montag. Es war ein guter Tag, morgens mit Familie und freunde in Deutschland geskypt und ganz süße glückwünsche bekommen. Danke nochmal :) Dann in der schule auch erstmal 5 Ständchen bekommen und in jeder Klasse erwähnt worden und alles. Weiß immer noch nicht woher die das alle wussten :D:D Und ich habe noch nie soo viele Umarmungen an einem Tag bekommen haha. :D:D Es war jedenfalls ein guter Tag und abends gab es dann Kuchen mit meiner Familie und tolle Geschenke. :) Alles in allem ein perfekter Geburtstag. Auch wenn es mich immer noch stört, wie raasend schnell die Zeit gerade wieder ist. Ich habe ne super zeit hier und habe jetzt schon keine Lust wieder nach hause zu müssen in 6 monaten... :( aber das wird schon alles ;) :D Schule läuft immer besser, habe jetzt wirklich ziemlich viele gute Freunde gefunden und gehöre dazu. Ich bin super glücklich hier mit allem... Dann hat man zwischendurch aber auch wieder total Heimweh und gerade meine beste freundin aus Deutschlan lisa vermisse ich einfach soo sehr... sie fehlt einfach, weil sie einfach diese jahrelange freundin ist und wir so viel erlbet haben und wir alles wissen übereinander.. Es fehlt jemand zum reden und ich vermisse unsere aktionen.. wenn man dann krank ist oder einen schlechten Tag in der Schule hat kommt alles zusammen und es kullern schonmal die tränen. Ja ein autauschjahr ist nicht immer einfach aber ich bin dennoch überglücklich hier zu sein und es lohnt sich. Man lernt so viel dazu und es macht einen stark. ;) also jeder der überlegt und zweifelt- MACHT ES!!! :) Jetzt kommt die weihnachtszeit und ich bin super aufgeregt. Viele trasititonen hier sind total anders... Davon berichte ich euch dann nächstes mal.. Jetzt könnt ihr erstmal die dekorationen auf den fotos genießen... :D
